Federal Tax Credit Information for Natural Gas Water Heaters

Gas water heaters that have an energy factor>=.82 or a Thermal Efficiency of at least 90% qualify for this Federal Tax Credit.  The tax credit is 30% of the total installed cost up to $1500.  This tax credit is only if you install the water heater in your primary residence.
